Gezien de omstandigheden omtrent COVID-19 is het iedereen uiteraard opgevallen dat de Maritime Match Day dit jaar niet door kon gaan. Een dag die zeer belangrijk is voor studenten om zich te oriënteren of om te zoeken naar een werk-, stage- of afstudeerplek. Om deze reden heeft de MMD-commissie afgelopen zomer niet stilgezeten en zich hard gemaakt om in ieder geval een deel van de studenten deze doelen te laten bereiken.
Op 8 oktober zullen er daarom online speeddates plaatsvinden voor 3e jaars of ouder om hen toch de kans te geven deze werk-, stage- of afstudeerplek te vinden. Speeddates zullen voornamelijk plaatsvinden op het online platform ZOOM via het beveiligde netwerk van de TU Delft, tenzij anders vermeld.
De speeddates zullen plaatsvinden tussen 13:00 – 17:00, maar deze tijden zullen specifieker worden vastgesteld in de vorm van een tijdschema naarmate de deadline voor de inschrijving nadert. De aanmeldingen voor de online speeddates openen op 8 september en sluiten 27 september 00:00.

Given the circumstances around the COVID-19 situation, one has noticed that a physical Maritime Match Day could not have taken place this year anymore. The MMD is very important for students to orientate themselves in the maritime sector or to look for work-, internship- or a graduation place. For this reason, the MMD committee organized something to at least give some of the students the opportunity to achieve these goals.
Online speed dates will take place on 8 October for third year students or older, to give them the opportunity to find this work-, internship- or graduation place. Speed dates mainly take place on the online platform ZOOM via the secured network of TU Delft, unless stated otherwise.
The speed dates take place between 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM, but these times will become more specifically in the form of a timetable as the registration deadline approaches. The registrations for the online speed dates open on September 8th and close September 27th 00:00.
