Program 2019

In order to get a sense of what the regular MMD is like, you can read about the program of the 2019 edition below.

The MMD of 2019 was started with case studies at around 09.00AM. Five different companies challenged the students with a maritime problem that the student might encounter in the future. With these case studies, the intention is to give students certain insight of what a company is doing. Click on the button to read more about the cases that were held on the Maritime Match Day 2019.

Cases

After the case studies and a small coffee break, the day was opened centrally in the auditorium around 12.00AM. There was an interesting discussion panel on stage between invited guests of several maritime companies.

Lunch was provided in the foyer. Students had lunch with the visiting companies, whereafter everyone walked around freely at the business fair.

Later in the afternoon, there was the possibility to participate in speeddates. Within a small timeframe students and companies will have the opportunity to get in touch with eachother. Speeddates are mostly used by students to look for work or a graduate internship. As an alternative to speeddates, some interesting lectures were organized in the auditorium.

Like every year, the day was closed of with drinks for students and the invited companies. Also the winnners of de cases were rewarded during the drinks.
